ADLIZZ SDN BHD is a 100% BUMIPUTRA owned company incorporated in 2001 with the initial objective of involving in medical supplies activities. Since the year 2000 Malaysia’s export of medical related products had risen to more than RM2.02 billion. Domestic demand for healthcare and medical products had also been on a constant incremental rise and the expenditure on healthcare and medical products currently constitute about 3.4% of the GNP. This represents the commercial rationale for Adlizz to diversify itself in this highly potential field.

As part of its strategy to venture into the medical and health sectors, Adlizz has identified key areas to focus on namely Intensive Care, Anesthesiology and Cardiothorasic. It is now working with several principals around the world to market their products in Malaysia whilst at the same time setting-up its own manufacturing facilities. With the company business activities and prospects grows, ADLIZZ has been certified with ISO 9001:2000 on June 2006.

One of the major principals of Adlizz is ICU Medical Inc., USA, a leading needlefree system manufacturer in the world. Since 2003, ICU Medical Inc. granted Adlizz the sole distributorship to market its products in Malaysia. Even though it was tough at the beginning to penetrate the market by introducing a new practice in the healthcare industry, Adlizz have managed to market the system to most major hospitals in Malaysia.

Beginning of 2005, ICU Medical Inc. has granted Adlizz the distribution rights for Brunei as well. With the additional products provided by other main medical suppliers such as high protection products from Mediwrap, UK and safety retractable syringe from Retractable Technologies, Inc, USA, Adlizz now is focusing itself in the area of infection control and safety products.
